Gamma-oryzanol is a substance that acts directly on the hypothalamus, correcting disturbances in it's function and removing nervous complaints accompanied by whiplash syndrome. Gamma-oryzanol also acts directly on the interbrain hypothalamus, stimulating the nerves, and relieving various nervous complaints caused by malfunctions in the nervous system. It is thus effective in correcting certain symptoms due to aging, such as vegetative stigmata and gastrointestinal neurosis.

Solubility:

 

In natural waxes and oils,   practically soluble in chloroform; slightly soluble in ether, and very slightly soluble in heptane, and insoluble in water.

APPLICATIONS:

protects the skin by preventing wrinkles and freckles, and inhibits the oxidation of fat, giving it intrinsic
cosmetic characteristics. Gamma-oryzanol is soluble in fats and has good emulsifying properties and a
high resistance against UV light, making it an excellent natural sunscreen enhancer. Furthermore, a
mixture of gamma-oryzanol with tocopherol exerts an excellent antioxidant effect. Since it is extracted
from a natural material, gamma oryzanol is safe to use and has no side effects, qualities which have
drawn the attention of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
